Criminals Killing Cops At Will In Mexico.

February 9, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Mexico is out of control. Drug Lords rule the nation and are now killing cops indiscriminately.  The drug lords have their own music called ” Narcorrido”, and the music video above glorifies the drug trade and cop killing. 530 Mexican police officers were killed last year. Even with the assistance of the Army  Mexico has failed to stop the insanity.

News reports are now stating that drug criminals  nowhave the power to monitor and interfere with police communication.  Here is an excerpt  by a drug killer breaking into the police frequency threatening the police officer and informing him he will be killed if he does his lawful duty :

” You’re next, bastard … We’re going to get you,” an unidentified drug gang member said over the police radio in the city of Tijuana after naming a policeman.

The man also threatened a second cop by name and played foot-stomping “narcocorrido” music, popular with drug cartels, over the airwaves.

How  Mexico can permit and condone directly communicate to the police and tell them they will be killed if they engage in lawful police activity. For the full article  See http://www.reuters.com/article/wtMostRead/idUSTRE51558E20090206

When a nation cannot protect it’s citizens, it is rogue. That Mexico border’s our nation make the situation scary. That Mexico’s economy is simultaneoulsy  imploding ( See http://www.reuters.com/article/bondsNews/idUSN0351279620090203 )  makes it foreseeable that it will replicated Afghanistan where tribal fractions control regions, cities and overall economic commerce.

It is only a matter of time before Mexican drug dealers seize a ship in a tourist destination ( like Africa’s coast) and hold the ship ransom.  I’m not a big border control immigration guy, but clearly if the drug dealers control big narcotic traffic, they are exploiting and controlling the human trafficking.   Here is a nice link on the topic. On A Scale of 1-10 How Bad Were You Molested!

We have all read of the priest abusing children in the Catholic Church. See http://www.boston.com/globe/spotlight/abuse/ Many of the Cardinals, Bishops and perhaps even the Pope himself were aware of the abuse.   The worst part was the cover up, when Church supervisors became aware of child molestation involving their priests they simply sent them to a form of ” rehabilitation” and than transferred them.

Now, allegations that similar abuse was taking place in the Hasidim Community.  See http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=99913807

One of the Rabbis had the nerve to ask on the victims parents ” On a scale of 1-10 how bad was the molestation.?”  Such a statement is inappropriate, and intended  to mitigate and downplay the extreme emotional, physical and psychological injury caused to the victim and his family. That  such insensitivity is shown by religious leaders on word ” outrageous”.

The question now is whether District Attorney Charles Hynes will conduct two prong investigation.  First into the current allegations and second a preemptive investigation regarding adult, rabbinical and childhood care in the close knitted Hasidim Community. The “PBS” article states the adults and children are taking ” baths ” together, this is quite disturbing adults and children should not be bathing in a communal setting,  especially with predator shark child abusers in the water.

In New York City  and state the Hasidic Community despite it’s insular nature wields alot of political clout.  In fact because they ” follow the rabbi”  they vote as a bloc. ( See http://www.forward.com/articles/the-secret-behind-a-rocker-s-election-to-congres/

The inference to be drawn, which is consistent with other charismatic religious groups is that they ” stick together” in good and bad times with the ultimate goal to protect and serve the leader.

Will Charlie Hynes and law enforcement be able to step up to the plate and protect the most vulnerable members of society children, or will they defer to the political clout of the Hasidim Community.

Greek Police Fire Tear Gas At Farmers

February 2, 2009 · Leave a Comment

BULGARIA-GREECE-FARMERS-PROTEST

The above photograph depicts Greek Farmers using their trucks to shut down ingress and egress to the nation as a form of protest against governmental farm subsidy policies. The issue becomes ” when does freedom of speech ” end, and what images are brought forth when police are used to stop speech?

In many parts of the world  the Police Agencies are federalized and under national control.  As opposed to the United States where we have local policing . America has no national police department.   That is a good thing, for when things get tough and civil unrest arises inept and often failed national  politicians, and their failed policies try and use the Police to prevent or save them from public outrage. Police should not be used to quell robust speech by the people to communicate displeasure at the government.

However as we speak  President Obama in his stimulus program has earmarked funds for policing. ( see http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSTRE4BI04320081219?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews )  Pursuant to Congressional Power in the spending clause  ( Article 1 Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution. ( see (http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.articlei.htm )l they can “condition funds” , as such mandate controls and regulations on how the funds are spent. ( see http://lawprofessors.typepad.com/conlaw/spending_clause/index.html Many are nervous Obama want to ” federalize the police”  See;http://www.jbs.org/index.php/us-constitution-blog/3415

Yesterday, in  Greece, failed economic policy’s have caused the farmers to be upset. To communicate their frustration they were driving their tractor trailers to the capital of Greece to bring attention to their plight. See http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2009-02-02-greece-farmers_N.htm?csp=YahooModule_News

See also : http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/03/world/europe/03greece.html?partner=permalink&exprod=permalink

Now clearly, when and if they have the ability to “freeeze traffic” the conduct may cease to be speech and becomes disorderly conduct ( See http://law.onecle.com/new-york/penal/PEN0240.20_240.20.html ) e.g. obstruction of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, annoying and perhaps a choke hold on the overall flow of the capital goods and services in the country.

Nevertheless , Police always lose when they are viewed by the public as the “aggressor” and “enforcer” for a political group in power.  Especially, when the group engaged in free speech is a sympathetic group such as “farmers” who are perceived to be the backbone of a nation and the definition of “hardworking” dawn to dusk. In the USA their are so many “aggro merchant” corporate farmers the independent farmer has dwindled.  See http://www.pbs.org/independentlens/realdirt/film.html

I believe that the current civil unrest in Greece, Iceland is just the start.  However, policing is a “local” event and when the population is upset with National policies the burden of civil order often falls on the national police. Images of riot police and K-9 dogs conjure up images of police misconduct and inhumane treatment to the citizens.  It’s a no win situation for the police and with the infusion of anarchists baiting the police well intended organizers ” freedom of speech” intents are corrupted and infiltrated by persons seeking violence and disorder.  Here is a link to one such event ( http://www.infowars.net/articles/august2007/220807Provocateurs_SPP.htm )
